what sets you apart from other tutors?
Most tutors start and end at what your student gets wrong. My approach, in contrast, focuses on the why; using premium SAT & ACT software in conjunction with my own custom diagnostic frameworks, I develop an understanding of your student’s thought processes that can be converted into effective, tailored strategies and practice.

is your tutoring “personalized”?
“Personalization” is a buzzword among tutors. Most intrepret it as “choosing to work on the specific areas a student needs help with.” But students need flexibility in how they learn, not just what. When I work with a student, our goal is to collaborate to address their weaknesses using their preferred learning style, not my preferred teaching style.

what are your sat, act, and gre test scores?
I received a 1590 on the SAT and a 1600 on every attempt since. I received 800s on the SAT Math II and Physics Subject Tests, a 36 on every section of the ACT, and a 340 on the GRE. I have also received a perfect score on every official practice test for the SAT, ACT, and GRE.

how do you offer affordability and quality?
Most tutors work with an agency to find students for them. These agencies handle marketing in exchange for a significant percentage of their profits. Because my students are so satisfied with their results, I primarily rely on word of mouth, which means that I don’t have this particular expense.
